- Photoshop Elements or full version of Photoshop on desktop at home (optional on laptop)
This class is for everyone who owns a digital SLR or a higher end point-and-shoot camera but have never dared to venture away from the Program and Automatic Modes.
Besides learning what the various knobs, dials and buttons do on the camera, students will learn to shoot on manual mode for exposure. This is useful for troubleshooting when a picture doesn’t work.
Emphasis will be on picture-taking although during critiques, instruction might cover some basic post production techniques in Photoshop.
Participants who own a laptop with Photoshop Elements or the full version of Photoshop are encouraged to bring their laptops to class.
If you’ve been toying with the idea of moving to a digital SLR, this class will address all your questions about why you should buy a digital SLR especially if you’re interested in photography.
