My Students’ Show

Jina Jani and Maria Gutierez make some last minute adjustments on their wall. Thanks to Ana Heranadez, Yesenia Barnett, Audree Garaza, Carrie Massie, Jina Jani, Maria Gutierez, Mary Stover and Windsor Muguertegui for participating.

The last time around I vowed not to subject myself to the aggravation of putting up my student’s pictures on the wall of my favorite coffeehouse in Riverside.

Glad to say I got over it. I had a very motivated group of students who put up with me for the semester, so the 3 hours or so I spent with Jina Wednesday morning putting the work up was well worth it.

It’s a fine effort for many of them who have never made enlargements of their work beyond a 8 x 10 print.

Carrie Massie checks the alignment of her classmates’ work on the brick wall at Back to the Grind.

Last night during downtown Riverside’s Artwalk, Back to the Grind was packed.

Thanks Darren for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to showcase their work.

Stop in at Back to the Grind and see the work.

  1. Carrie!
Thanks for visiting and reading the blog. Also for taking the time to leave a comment. Just don’t forget to go by at close to the end of the month to pick up your pictures.

  2. I would like to say thank you for your time that you spent in putting up the pics. I love the class. I can say that I can now use my Canon now. The way it should be used.
