Over the weekend, I visited the annual Tiki Beach Festival at Alfredo’s Beach Club in Long Beach.
It’s a very low-key festival, free to attend and at a pleasant location.
There wasn’t any huge crowds which is how I like it.
I didn’t get to stay for very long unfortunately.
There were different food vendors, lots of desserts like shaved ice, smoothies and special doughnuts even.
But it wasn’t enough to keep my family occupied so I felt at odds seeing them wait while I worked to capture these images.
We stayed at the festival long enough to watch Tago Le Pasefika or “Touch of the Pacific” take the stage.
If I had my way, we would have stayed till after the fire dancers.
Maybe next year.
