I couldn’t have picked a better morning to make a visit to the Bolsa Chica wetlands. When our bus driver Mr.Acosta dropped us off, he had a whole parking spot to himself.
The sky was overcast and there were periods when the sun peeped through the marine layer. Temperatures were a very comfortable 65℉.
The walk itself wasn’t strenuous although it took us about 45 minutes to get to the end of the trail. I was a little disappointed we didn’t see more birds but I think we could have tried the other location next time.
