These are usually shot with a slight wide angle lens.
If you’re using a digital SLR which doesn’t have a full frame sensor, then any lens shorter than 30 mm is considered a wide angle.
Again, since I don’t believe in rules for photography. Environmental portraits can even be shot with a 50 mm lens. Continue reading Environmental Portraiture
On Veterans Day, my class went downtown Riverside. It was deserted because of the holiday, but that suited our purposes.
For one thing, parking was easy to find and we didn’t have to pay the $1 an hour.

Before my class was cut lose to for their photowalk to see what they could find downtown Riverside, I helped them with their silhouette assignment.
We had already gone over the details but I felt they needed a little more guidance.
